What is detoxification?
Detoxification is the removal of toxins from your body. We literally eat so much junk that our body can’t process it and then it stores those toxins as fat! Yes, you heard it correctly, the fat we carry with us is where our bodies store the excess junk that it can’t process because it does not realize what it is. How much junk to you have in your trunk that you are carrying with you?
You Are What You Eat
I am sure you have heard this before. Did you know that it really is true! I won’t get all technical and if you want more information, you can go research the details. Our cells turn over regularly though. Those cells are comprised of the food we eat, the air we breath, the products we come into contact with everyday. Did you know it only takes something like 14-16 seconds for whatever comes into contact with our skin to be absorbed into our blood? Our skin is our largest organ and its job is detoxification.
Symptoms of Toxins
Do you know what the symptoms of toxicity are? I had no clue. I know I felt horrible and just chalked it up to bad genes and always thanked my parents for whatever came next. However, what I now know, is that it wasn’t all bad genes, it was toxins!! After learning about detoxification and participating in an amazing program, I feel great!

Now a detox definitely does not replace going to a doctor and getting checked out. You should always check with your doctor first before making any major changes.
Results of a detox
If you have a good dextofication program and follow it 100%, you should be able to feel and see the results after just one week. It takes a full four weeks for our bodies to adjust and remove toxins and start healing the gut, so be patient and give it time. A detox is not a weight loss program; however, because toxins are stored as fat, I bet you anything, you will lose weight and inches as well!
